Putting classrooms first by supporting students, empowering educators, and strengthening our school communities.

With more than 20 years of classroom experience, Michele understands firsthand what helps students succeed — and the role strong schools play in building stronger communities.
Her vision for Brevard County Schools is grounded in experience, collaboration, and putting students first.
Three Vision Pillars
Keep Politics Out of Classrooms
Michele believes classrooms should remain focused on helping students build strong academic foundations, grow in confidence, and prepare for future success.
She supports keeping the focus where it belongs — on learning, student growth, and academic excellence.
Retain Our Teachers & Paraprofessionals
Teachers and paraprofessionals deserve the tools, respect, and support they need to succeed.
Michele believes educators should have the resources and professional autonomy to do what they know works best for their students while creating environments where talented teachers want to stay and thrive.
Strengthen Services for Students with Disabilities
As a teacher of students who are Deaf and hard of hearing, Michele understands the importance of individualized support and strong student services.
She believes Brevard schools must continue strengthening resources, services, and opportunities that help students with disabilities learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
